This week's grind
Small batches, made against real demand. When a batch sells through we grind another — we don't build stock to sit in a warehouse.

The problem with spice
A whole peppercorn holds its aromatic oils in a sealed shell and will keep for years. Crack it open and those oils begin evaporating within minutes — by six months, most of what you paid for is gone.
The industry works around this with volume: mill a year's supply, warehouse it, ship on demand. It's efficient. It also means the turmeric in your cupboard was probably ground before last monsoon.
We built the opposite. We hold whole spice, mill weekly against real orders, and print the grind date on every pouch so you can check us.

Whole spice for toasting and grinding yourself, ground spice for speed, and blends for the nights you want dinner on the table.
How it works
Growers harvest to our grade spec and cure on raised beds — never roadside tarmac. We buy the current harvest only.
Whole spice is held in cold storage and cold-milled weekly against live orders. Nothing is ground speculatively.
Into light-blocking, nitrogen-flushed pouches within four hours of grinding, stamped with the grind date.
From the kitchen
I opened the cardamom in the hallway and my whole flat smelled of it. I genuinely didn't know it was supposed to do that.
We switched the restaurant over eight months ago. The garam masala alone changed how three of our dishes taste.
The grind date on the pouch sounds like a gimmick until you compare it against the jar you've had since 2023.
